		adopted by NTPC, India's largest and the world's sixth largest power 
		generating company. It discusses the framework for human resource

		overall corporate strategy. It details NTPC's practices relating to

		benefits and work-life balance. It also describes how NTPC has 
		established a culture of high performance, making the company the second 
		most efficient power generator in the world. The case also explores the 
		payoff arising from good human resource management as seen in the
